 In this Step, We could use some instruments to delimit the problem and validate our appreciation of the IC.

There are various methods to do this such as:

CATWOE, 5W's, Questionnaires, interviews, observation etc...

I Use the observation method because I'm limited right now for winter break, so I'm doing this from home with the support content of my classes.

First I create a JAM and conduct a brainstorming to answer:

What did the students do to develop their tasks?

What are the most difficult topics or techniques to learn for the students?

How much time should be used by the students in class for developing an engineering project?

Why is difficult for students to understand some topics?

Why students must learn Coding and the engineering process?


In this phase is mandatory to understand what students think and their needs. For me was identified beyond the first hypothesis: "They have to invest more time in the core courses for all the content they need to consume".
